Frequently asked questions
A. Yes we allow day visitors, this is charged at $7.50 per person, and you can visit from 8am to 8pm.
A. Our amusements run from Dec to Feb for a minimum of 10 riders unless by prior arrangement.
Flying Fox 10:00 – 11:00 am & 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Go Karts 11:30 – 1:00 pm
Waterslide 2:00 – 4:00 pm
These amusements may close early if not enough riders and/or wet weather.
A. There is no extra cost for the amusements apart from the Go-Karts, which are $10 per rider.
A. Yes pets are always allowed at Quinney’s Bush! We just ask that you keep them on a lead at all times, and pick up any “doggy-doos”. We have an off-lead dog walking area for you also.
A. Yes campfires as well as charcoal BBQ’s are allowed at our camp (unless there is a local fire ban which we will make very clear). We sell firewood from Dec-Feb at 5pm daily for $5 an armful.
A. If you are on a non-powered site, then you can choose where you would like to camp as long as you are at least ten metres away from the powered sites. If you were on a powered site then you may be able to have a site next to each other, but please contact us directly to check availability.
A. Tents wishing to connect to power supply must have an approved isolating transformer or RCD safety switch with reyrolle plug on the end that plugs into the power supply.
Caravans come equipped with reyrolle plugs on both ends of the lead and must have a current electrical warrant of fitness to be able to connect to power supply.
You can purchase an RCD adapter from most hardware stores.
A. We do not have Wifi at Quinney’s Bush, however there is quite good cell phone reception with 4G.
A. The showers take a $1 coin for a 5 minute shower, or a $2 coin for the family shower (double shower head). Our washing machines cost $3 and the dryer costs $5.
A. Unfortunately our booking system is not set up for group bookings, we ask that each family makes their own booking to avoid any confusion upon arrival. When making the booking you can include a note or request if you would like to be next to each other.
A. Yes you can! Please click on the “Make a Booking” option in the menu above.
A. Yes a 50% deposit is required for all bookings, unless your tariff is $200 or less, then payment will need to be made in full. Please view our Camp Policies for more information.
A. Yes our Cabins, Caravans as well as most of our Camp Easy tents that we hire do have power connected to them.
A. Yes we close at the start of May and re-open for Labour weekend in October.
A. Infants are 0-23 months, children are 2-12 years and adults are aged 13 and above.
A. Our reception and shop is open from 8am to 8pm daily.
A. Please notify our reception staff in advance if you will be arriving after 8pm. We will leave an envelope at the reception desk for you to collect upon your arrival.
A. No sorry, out of respect of your neighbours , no generators are to be used in the camp.
A. Yes we do, we have a strict no noise after 10:30pm policy to ensure a pleasent stay for all our campers. The only exception is on New Years.
