Quinney’s Bush is a popular, Kiwi adventure holiday park set in spacious grounds of 10 ha with native trees and safe river swimming. Hosts Mark, Marama and Andrew Quinney would like to welcome you to Quinney’s Bush, a camp which promotes memorable, traditional family holidays. Conveniently located 52 km from Nelson, 70 km from Murchison and 58 km from Motueka on SH6.

Camp Policies

Day Visitors are welcome to experience everything at Quinney's Bush. This is charged at $7.50 per person and the gates open at 8am and close at 8pm.

A few things our campers love

at Quinneys Bush Camp

We are pet friendly!

Dogs are a part of your family and don't want to be left at home! Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and please pick up any "doggy-doos." Please register your dog with us at reception.

Campfires!

Campfires are welcome at our campsite as long there is no fire ban in place. We have a limited supply of braziers that campers can use for free. We sell firewood between 5-6pm for $5 an armful between Dec-Feb.

Non-allocated tent sites!

One thing our campers love at Quinney's Bush, is that if they choose a non-powered site, they can choose where they want to go! (As long as they are at least ten meters away from the powered sites!

We had the best 5 nights here at the end of the school holidays. Kids (and us adults) loved the water slide, river slide, flying fox and all the other amazing entertainment that is here. All the facilities were spotless the entire time and loved seeing staff there regularly to check everything. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. We have been recommending this place to everyone and we will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic family experience! Adventure park crossed with laid back family camping experience in a magical setting along the riverside. Waterslide, obstacle course, flying foxes, go karts, trailer rides...list goes on!
